Issue - Prophet Bahruch

One of the most serious errors of Ergun Caner is the mention of this person by the name of Bahruch and stating that he is a Prophet in Islam.

According to an authentic Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) there were a total of 124,000 prophets sent to mankind to call their nations to the worship and acknowledgement of the one true God with no partners.

The last of these Prophets being Muhammad (peace be upon him) who was sent for the benefit of the whole of mankind in contrast to the other Prophets who were only sent to their particular people for that particular time.

the proof

As you saw above, Ergun mentioned the name Bahruch as a Prophet in Islam.

the prophets

Only 25 of these 124,000 Prophets are mentioned by name in the Qur’an. The following is a list of these mentioned Prophets:

Adam, Idris, Nuh, Hud, Salih, Ibrahim, Isma'il, Ishaq, Lut, Ya'qub, Yusuf, Shu'aib, Ayyub, Musa, Haroon, Dhu'l-kifl, Dawud, Sulayman, Ilias, Al-Yasa, Yunus, Zakariyya, Yahya, Isa and Muhammad

The thing to be noted here is that the name Bahruch is not there.

what's the problem?

We have no clue who Bahruch is, and neither do we understand why Ergun Caner mentioned this name as a Prophet in Islam.

This name Bahruch IS NOT mentioned in any Islamic text as a Prophet. So Ergun’s claim of being an ex devout Muslim until the age 18 has once again been dented.

The problem is that Ergun poses himself as the source of knowledge when it comes to Islam, thus – the mentality of his fans is that if you want to learn the truth about Islam, then why not ask an ex Muslim who knows all about it? Their naivety on the subject of Islam disables them from spotting these errors of this so called scholar on Islam. This is not a means of mocking the people who believe everything Ergun Caner says, this is a call to them to open their minds and do the research themselves to find out why I call Ergun and Emir Caner liars.

If one were to draw a similitude of this Bahruch error, it would be like a supposed ex Christian saying that Buddha was a Prophet of God. Without doubt you would consider anyone claiming to be an ex Christian and then saying that Buddha is a Prophet in Christianity as a plain, simple fraud.

the edit

If it was not for an innocent Christian YouTube user, this Bahruch error would never have been noticed. This is because the editors of the John Ankerberg Show have deleted this particular part of the interview.

The YouTube user who had uploaded the interview had done so before this edit had taken place. Look at the following two videos and you will easily be able to spot the difference for yourself:

final thoughts

It is clearly evident that the editors of the show had something hide.

But little did they know that the erroneous clip had already been uploaded. So the question must be asked –

If this error of mentioning Bahruch is not serious, then why would the editors of the interview make the effort to go back and alter the recording?

The simple answer – because they knew that Ergun would be exposed as a fraud.
